Conflict Mineral Statement

Loper Machine LLC, hereby declares that Loper Machine, in compliance with the Conflict Minerals Regulations, has taken significant measures to ensure responsible sourcing and ethical practices in the supply chain. We are committed to upholding the principles and objectives set forth by the Conflict Minerals Rule under Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

Loper Machine is dedicated to ensuring that all products we manufacture and sell do not directly or indirectly finance armed groups in conflict-affected regions, particularly those involved in human rights abuses, environmental degradation, and other illicit activities. We recognize the importance of addressing the concerns surrounding conflict minerals, including tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold (3TG), originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and its adjoining countries.

To achieve compliance with the Conflict Minerals Regulations, Loper Machine has taken the following steps:

Supply Chain Due Diligence: We have conducted comprehensive due diligence across our supply chain to identify the presence and source of conflict minerals. This process includes engaging with our suppliers and requesting information regarding the origin and chain of custody of any 3TG materials used in our products.

Responsible Sourcing: Loper Machine actively supports responsible sourcing initiatives, including the establishment of conflict-free supply chains. We prioritize working with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical practices and who can demonstrate that their materials are conflict-free.

Reporting and Transparency: We maintain accurate and detailed records of our due diligence efforts and collaborate with industry initiatives that promote transparency. Loper Machine is dedicated to disclosing relevant information regarding conflict minerals in our products to customers, regulators, and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: We are continuously reviewing and enhancing our processes to improve the effectiveness of our conflict minerals compliance program. This includes staying informed about updates to regulations and industry best practices.

Loper Machine reaffirms its commitment to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and social responsibility. We believe that promoting responsible sourcing of minerals is not only essential for compliance but also crucial in fostering sustainable economic development and protecting human rights in conflict-affected regions.

This statement is made with full responsibility and is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of 7/23/2023. We will continue to assess and monitor our supply chain to ensure ongoing compliance with the Conflict Minerals Regulations and to contribute to positive change in the global mineral trade.
